there is more than just a world cup title on the line. Spain has a chance to knock out the favorites on France's own national holiday. and if they fail, El Lopo must break a vow we have upheld for over seven years: we'll have to put some French shit on the menu.

if La Roja prevails, we get to rub some salty manzanilla into our neighbor's wound: Amelie must taint their French wine menu with a sherry.

it's all laid out in the Treaty of Polk Street, a binding agreement signed by both bar owners on July 9th in anticipation of this showdown.
